Powerful Month in Africa
It’s incredible how God has brought both of these opportunities together to serve the people of Africa and global women workers.
A small team will go to train and equip the staff of Hands of Love Ministry in Uganda and provide a restorative retreat for global women workers in Cape Town, South Africa.
We will travel to Uganda from June 26th-July 6th and Cape Town from July 7th to July 21st, 2025.

Hands of Love (HOL)
Bringing transformation to the most vulnerable of the next generation in Uganda
Our team will support and equip the HOL staff and community support members on trauma healing. We wholeheartedly believe that by caring for the HOL staff, they can better care for the children of Uganda.
We will offer a 3-day group experience for the staff and support people in healing their own trauma. We will use the Trauma Healing Institute's Bible-based resources and programs to facilitate trauma healing. These resources powerfully combine the best mental health practices in treating trauma and the hope and healing in Scripture.
Thrive Ministry
Replenishing women ministering overseas.
Thrive hosts three retreats each year for North American women who are ministering overseas to get away for a time of refreshment and connection with other women. During our four days together, between 50-100 attendees have the opportunity to experience spiritual, emotional, and physical restoration through worship, studying Scripture, prayer, self-care, confidential counseling, and more.
By hosting our retreats at a conference center or hotel, we provide an environment that reflects our goal of replenishment and escape from the burdens of everyday life on the field.
I will be providing counseling and/or spiritual direction for the attendees. In addition, I will be facilitating a small group.
This is a powerful time of healing and hope for global women workers, and spending time with them is a privilege.

* Trauma healing supplies (books, copies, and other miscellaneous small group supply needs).
* Lunch for the participants attending the group and training
* Airfare and ground accommodations for the 25 days we’ll be in Africa ($7000)
